Skin Craft Services

Skin Craft is proud to be offering professional services by a qualified beauty therapist. Services include Waxing, Lash and Brow Tinting, Brow Shaping, Lash Lift, Facial and Skin Treatments, Massage, Medki8 Skincare, Dermaplaning, Dermal Needling. 

Lash and Brow Tinting 

A lash tint will last up to four weeks and a brow tint will last slightly less time.

The eyelash tint colour is carefully selected to match your eye colour and to enhance your lashes.

The brow tint is selected to complement your skin tone and to highlight your eyebrows. We build the tint colour up in stages until you are satisfied with the colour. 


Facials

Medik8 Facials are specifically tailored to meet your individual skin needs. An initial consultation followed by a skin analysis starts the treatment.

Medik8 skincare has been chosen for facial treatments because of its active results to the skin and the philosophy of "CSA"  

1.Vitamin C in the morning      

2. Followed by sunscreen

3. Vitamin A in the     evening

Medik8 is 100% recyclable, sustainable and vegan.

Lash Lift

The Lash Lift has revolutionised the older perming techniques and now uses silicone pads which are much kinder to the eyes and the lashes. The Lash Lift can:

•Lift the lashes

•Straighten the lashes

•Curl the lashes

•Create a brighter, fuller, and wide-eyed look.

This treatment has results that last up to 6 weeks and is easily combined with a colour boost.

Waxing

We use a professional waxing product called Depilflax. This wax is kind to the skin while gripping the hair to remove successfully.

Wax is disposed of after use, disposable spatulas are used and gloves.

Waxing treatments will last approximately 4-6 weeks.

Dermal Needling

Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) and Micro-needling… this is a non-surgical skin-tightening treatment used to trigger collagen production in our skin.

The skin needling device, Dr Pen, creates a multitude of tiny pin prick wounds to the skin which:               

•Improve the appearance of ageing skin

•Lighten pigmentation marks

•Reduce the appearance of scars

•Stimulate the production and formation of collagen and elastin causing tightening and firming of the skin

This treatment can also be used to treat cellulite. A course of treatments is required for best results.

A consultation for this treatment is mandatory so the correct treatment plan can be designed specifically to each skin concern.

 This consultation is complementary.

Dermaplaning

This treatment is not new; it has been practised widely in a variety of cultures around the world. It has recently taken the beauty therapy industry by storm. Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation of the skin using a sterile surgical scalpel.

Benefits are:        

•Removal of fine hair

•Improved texture of   the skin           

•Reduction in the appearance of scars    

•Reduction in the appearance of fine lines

•Promotes better absorption of skincare products             

•No down time         

•Painless procedure   

•Suitable for almost all skins except active and inflamed acne.    

 

Massage

  For general relaxation or therapeutic purpose - massage can be tailored to suit. We don't offer  deep tissue massage but can apply more pressure if required.

We use Tui Balm products which are New Zealand made. Massage times are 30 minutes or 1 hour.

Hot Stone Massage is also available.

Brow Shaping

  Your eyebrows frame your face. It is really important that they are shaped correctly to enhance your face.

Our eyebrow shaping service includes measuring your eyebrows to suit your eye and face shape. The option of waxing and shaping is available,

 

Electrolysis

Electrolysis - is still around. I have chosen to keep it as a service as there is always the hair and skin that can't tolerate laser. 

Using a small electrical current and fine probe, the current is applied to the root of the hair destroying its ability to grow. A course of treatments is required for best results.
